ETHOS PSYCHOLOGY

Ethos Psychology is a private practice providing psychological counselling and assessment over a full range of mental health issues and a variety of special focuses. Its team comprises of Clinical, Registered and Provisional Psychologists available for an immediate start.

STEPHEN RENDALL CONSULTING

Stephen Rendall is a Registered Psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. Stephen is experienced in working with males and females, adolescents and adults across in the following presentations: anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, adjustment issues, grief and loss, workplace stress, chronic pain, anger management, injury and rehabilitation, sport and performance issues.

Ms Nichola Miller

Nichola Miller is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in psychological counselling focusing on women and families wishing to have emotional support and coping strategies during pregnancy and in the post-natal period (perinatal) to feel mentally well and resilient.


GROUP THERAPY


Ethos Psychology

Group Therapy at Ethos Psychology is conducted in a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space for participants to work, as a group, towards reaching their goals. Group Therapy is provided as closed groups, which means that participants have to register prior to the start of the group and are recommended to attend all sessions. This enables individuals to feel comfortable with the same participants every week.

Trauma Aware Movement

Trauma Aware Movement is a Group Therapy that has been facilitated at Ethos Psychology since 2023 and that has been successful with numerous positive feedback from our clients. Through psychoeducation, mindfulness exercises and self-awareness exercises, this group has been designed to enhance individual’s understanding of trauma and its impact and provide them with all the necessary tools to work towards resilience and self-compassion.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Training

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Group was created in 2024 by Director and Clinical Psychologist Rachel Goh. Through the learning and practice of different skills (Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness), participants will be able to understand and change behavioural, emotional, thinking, and interpersonal patterns to improve relationships and general well-being.
